My learning goal is to split numbers into tens and ones.
I have learned to use this strategy to answer my questions easier. E.G: 34+42=76 because 3+4=7 and 4+2=6 so it is 76
My next step is to try more harder questions using this strategy.
WALT: Design a floor plan for an area in our school.
I learned: To measure areas by foot.
Here is an example of my learning: The netball court the length was 85 and the width was 58.
Next time I will: Use a good measure tape and do it that way.
WALT: Throw, strike and kick large balls.
I learned: To kick the ball on the side of my foot.
Here is an example of my learning: I showed my skills of striking and a game of rounders.
Next time I will: Try harder and use different skills.
WALT run 1 5 km for Cross Country
I learned that it is quite hard to run that distance but I got through by trying my best.
I achieved my goal because I tried not to stop running.
Next time I will try and get first second or third.
Reading Term 1
Work out what unknown words mean through context clues and confirming using dictionary
Find words that we are unsure of in the text.
Use a dictionary to find out what they mean.
